Scenic Drives from Atlanta: North Georgia Road Guides
Planning a scenic drive from Atlanta? These North Georgia guides let you compare the actual road segments and loops before deciding how far you want to travel. Each connects to a reviewed road trace and downloadable GPX rather than a suggested road name alone.
The distances shown are scenic-route lengths, not the distance from Atlanta or a promise of a particular drive time. Pick a start point, account separately for the approach and return, and choose legal stops for your group. Weather and traffic can change both the schedule and the route's suitability.

Questions drivers ask
Are these drives all within two hours of Atlanta?
We do not claim a fixed travel-time radius. Your starting location, traffic, route endpoint and conditions determine the approach journey.
Which guides are full loops?
The Suches/Wolfpen and Robertstown Russell–Brasstown variants return to their starting junctions. The other guides are individual scenic segments.
Can I add a lunch stop?
Yes. Plan a legal destination and parking separately; the road traces do not guarantee parking, business hours or group capacity.
Are these routes available in RevRoute?
